Hello. I am Jiku from Inishie R plusA. What is the purpose of a human life?

From when we are babies to when we are old, we start and end with zero. What do we gain and what do we lose during this time?

It is human nature to want to acquire as many things as possible while we are alive. There is no sense of stability in a life of temporary survival. I’m not sure if stability is the right word, but even people who gamble with their lives may be looking for the stability of having many things.

Stability is good, but it’s not good if it holds you back. Stability leads to growth, and growth leads to stability. I’m sure many people want a sense of stability in society.

People want things to be predictable and go with the flow. They want stability and they hope there will be no surprises. They hope they can avoid accidents on their own.

I’m worried about living from day to day without achieving anything. I don’t need to reach the height of Mount Everest, but I’d like to aim to be one of the top mountains in the country.

If you can gain experience well, you have the potential to conquer even the tallest mountain. Some people may lose motivation when they hear about building things up little by little. If you are told that you have to work hard for another five years, it is up to each individual whether they will be motivated or lose motivation.

The day will come when the things you have been steadily building up for the past five years will be recognized. You may have been living the same everyday life, but five years will feel like a very long time.

The more effort you put in, the more you will be at the mercy of the years that pass. However, if you are still performing brilliantly on stage five years from now, you will soon see a large profit in your hands. So you are forced to make two choices.

You can choose to go on the defensive to seek stability, or you can continue for another five years and challenge yourself to climb a higher mountain. Humans are not simple creatures. When you are lucky enough to be forced to choose between two options, it is up to each individual to decide whether to go on the defensive or go on the offensive.

As for me, I want to live in the middle, neither on the defensive nor on the offensive. If I could persevere for five years, I think it would be possible to persevere for another five years in the next ten years.

For athletes, physical strength declines and there are situations that could be considered age restrictions, but when it comes to intellectual ability, the advantage is that the more experience one gains, the more one matures.

Even intellectual ability may be required, and physical strength may also be required, but there are various ways to fight, including that. What will remain after 5, 10, 20, or 30 years of continuing? We may be forced to make a choice.
